Red Raspberry Oil, the “Woman’s Herb”

The herb, Red Raspberry, contains many nutrients needed by women that help the female reproductive system. It is very high in antioxidants and along with its nutrients help balance hormones.

This herb has magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium and vitamin B, C, E, and A. It is great for anyone’s immune system even great for kids and the taste is a mild tea flavor.

You can use raspberry tea leaves for making teas or extracts. Of course, this herbal tea is caffeine-free.

The raspberry oil is from the raspberry seeds, cold-pressed, it is used as both a carrier oil with added Essential oils or as a straight massage oil.

  6. It also contains Phytosterols known to encourage healthy skin growth and protect you from the growth of abnormal cells. This leads to healthier, younger-looking skin.
  7. Raspberry has been shown to ease PMS symptoms, relieving nausea, soothing cramps, helpful for endometriosis and menopause issues. It could help with strengthening the uterus and pelvic muscles.
  8. It is beneficial for swishing in the mouth against gingivitis or gum disease.

 Red Raspberry Seed Oil Uses

  • For Face: Use a few drops added to your face mask or to facial creams, it is non- greasy and absorbs quickly.
  • For Hair: Add a few drops to your regular shampoo for added benefits.
  • For the Body: Add a few drops to your shower gel, lotions or even sunscreens for extra benefits.
  • Massages: Use straight or with added Essential oils such as Geranium or Clary Sage; then massage into tummy area for female issues like PMS or menopause symptoms.

 There are massage therapists and even some doulas which recommend using the herb, raspberry leaf as a tea, to assist with many “woman’s issues”.
